To help the people of Ukraine, the Buffalo Teachers Federation encourages members to consider donating to the NYSUT Disaster Relief Fund, the statewide union’s 501(c)3 charitable organization.

NYSUT will be partnering with relief agencies to make sure that the funds collected get to the people in areas that are most in need due to this humanitarian crisis.

“This is a time for all citizens to join together to support the Ukrainian people as they fight for their lives and the future of their nation,” said NYSUT Secretary-Treasurer, J. Philippe Abraham whose office manages the Disaster Relief Fund. “Their fight is everyone’s fight and I encourage all, who are able to contribute, to lend a helping hand.”
